The short version: we use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use this website, and we only collect your personal details when you choose to give them to us.

Who we are
This website is run by The Kidner Beauty Trust (“we”, “us”). If you have a question about your personal information, send us a direct message on Instagram at @jessicakidner_.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What this website collects
This website has no forms, and we don’t use advertising cookies. We do use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how the site is used (see below).
Like every website, it does rely on a few services to work. When you visit, your browser connects to them, and they can see technical details such as your IP address and browser type:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks. It may use a strictly necessary security cookie.
- Podbean hosts the podcast. On episode pages, the audio loads from Podbean when you press play.
Analytics
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use this website: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are in the world, what device they use, and how they arrived (for example from a search or a podcast app).
Google Analytics uses cookies (small files stored by your browser, with names starting “_ga”) to recognise returning visitors. It doesn’t tell us your name or email address, and we don’t use it for advertising or to identify you. Google processes this information on our behalf, mostly in the United States.
If you’d rather not be included, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a simpler, privacy-focused tool from our hosting provider. It counts visits and shows which pages are viewed, roughly which country visitors are in, which site they came from, and how quickly pages load for real visitors.
It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, and doesn’t follow you across other websites. Cloudflare processes this information on our behalf, mostly in the United States.
When you share your details with us
We collect personal information when you choose to give it to us. The buttons on this site take you to the services below, which collect it on our behalf:
- The free 5 step system and newsletter (Flodesk). Your name and email address, so we can send you the guide and our newsletter.
- Booking a Beauty Business Audit or coaching session (TidyCal). Your name, email address and anything you tell us when booking. Payments are handled by TidyCal and its payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Buying the Pricing Toolkit (ThriveCart). Your name, email address and order details. Payments are handled by ThriveCart and its payment provider.
- Messaging us on Instagram. Your Instagram name and whatever you include in your message. Instagram (Meta) also has its own privacy policy.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy, which applies to what you share with them.
Coaching calls
Audit and coaching sessions are confidential video calls. Audit calls are recorded so we can send you the recording and a written summary afterwards. You may share details about your business, including income and pricing, during a call. We use what you share only to help you, and we never share it with anyone else without your permission.
How we use your information
- To send you what you asked for: the guide, the newsletter, your booking details, your call recording and summary.
- To run your coaching sessions and reply to your messages.
- To keep the records we’re required to keep by law, such as tax records.
- To improve this website, using the usage reports from Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything you wouldn’t expect.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it at any time, and you won’t hear from us again unless you sign up again.
Sharing information overseas
Some of the services we use, including Cloudflare, Google, Podbean, Flodesk, TidyCal and ThriveCart, store information on servers outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers that have their own privacy and security protections.
Keeping your information safe
We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires. We store it with the trusted services listed here and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Send us a direct message on Instagram at @jessicakidner_ and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Making a complaint
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please send us a direct message on Instagram first so we can put it right. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Instagram and Facebook. We aren’t responsible for how they handle your information, so check their privacy policies too.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
